Routine Maintenance Schedule
Keep your vehicle performing at its best with regular maintenance
Oil Change
Oil Change
Your vehicle’s engine is comprised of many moving parts. The oil acts to lubricate and absorb the heat created from the friction of these moving parts. Quite simply, oil is like the blood of your vehicle, it cannot function without it. Over time, like all other fluids, oil begins to break down, becoming less effective and causing stress on your engine. Along with replacing the oil, we also change the filter to ensure clean, uncontaminated oil is circulating through the engine. Synthetic vs. Regular Oil Every engine has specific oil requirements which can be met by either regular conventional oil or synthetic oil. There is no difference in the service, rather the quality of the product. Regular Conventional oil is refined from crude oil, where as Synthetic oil is man made and designed to feature the best aspects of crude oil using the chemical compounds. Synthetic Oil has many benefits including: better performance (less friction) thanks to uniform molecules, reduced deposits, fewer impurities, better cold weather performance and longer intervals between oil changes.Fuel Injector & Throttle Body Cleaning
Fuel Injector & Throttle Body Cleaning
Throttle Body Service The throttle body regulates the flow of air into the engine intake. Overtime Carbon can build up inside the throttle body which impacts the engine’s power output. Cleaning the bore of the throttle body and the throttle blade ensures proper air regulation and extends the life of the throttle body. This service is integral to ensuring the throttle plate does not bind and/ or seize casing damage to the throttle body motor. Fuel Injector Service As the fuel injectors work with the throttle body they too, experience carbon build up on their spray ports. This inhibits their ability to achieve the optimal spray pattern of fuel into the intake system. A high pressurized flush of cleaning solution rids the tips of the fuel injectors of carbon and allows for optimal fuel spray patterns. The cleaning solution is also used to clean the values and combustion chambers. A fuel injector and throttle body cleaning service contributes to engine fuel economy and overall engine performance.Multi Point Inspection
Multi Point Inspection
A complete inspection of all major systems and components including the braking system, tires, suspension, steering components, fluids and filters.Brake Fluid Flush
Brake Fluid Flush
Brake fluid like all other fluids, needs to replaced over time because it becomes contaminated with dirt and absorbs water. Contaminated fluid shorten the life span of brake calipers and other hydraulic components. Flushing the braking system removes any build up and contamination and restores the system to operate at 100%.Tire Rotation
Tire Rotation
A tire rotation is an simple yet mighty service. Routine tire rotations not only impact the overall performance and efficiency of your vehicle but also preserve balanced handling and tire traction and prolong the life of your tires by promoting even tread wear. Even tread Wear is especially important on 2 wheel drive vehicles (front or rear wheel drive) as the tires on the drive axel undergo much different treatment than the tires opposite the drive axle.Automatic Transmission Service
Automatic Transmission Service
Your transmission contains clutches that transfer power from the engine to the drive axles. These clutches are lubricated with transmission fluid. Transmission fluid becomes contaminated over time as it absorbs dirt, moisture and fibrous clutch material. Contaminated fluid clogs the filters within the transmission which causes premature damage by reducing the hydraulic pressure applied to the clutches and allowing the transmission clutches to slip. When a transmission service is completed, the oil and filter(s) within the transmission are replaced which prevents premature wear on transmission components.Alignment Inspection
Alignment Inspection
Unavoidable obstacles like pot holes, uneven surfaces in the road and train tracks can throw your wheels out of alignment. An out of spec alignment can place additional stress on suspension and steering components, causing them to wear out prematurely. Readjusting them to the manufactures specifications reduces uneven tire wear which prolongs the life of your tires, enhances your fuel economy, ensures your steering wheel is correctly aligned, prolongs the life of steering and suspensions components and assists in a smoother ride. We’ll inspect your vehicle’s current alignment, provide you with a report and advise on next steps!Diesel Fuel Filters
Diesel Fuel Filters
Diesel fuel filters filter diesel fuel down to 3-5 microns. Diesel fuel contains contaminates such as dirt, asphaltene and water, these contaminates lead to failure of the high pressure fuel injection system that your engine runs on. Regularly replacing the fuel filters prevents these contaminates from causing damage to the high pressure fuel injection system.Engine Air Filter
Engine Air Filter
The engine air filter, filters the air being drawn into the engine. As dirt, dust and leaves plug the air filter, regularly replacing the filter allows for proper air flow into the engine. Proper air flow into the engine is integral to proper performance and efficiency.Four Wheel Drive Line Service
Four Wheel Drive Line Service
Front Differential The front differential transfers power from the transfer case to the front wheels. A differential service replaces the oil that lubricates the gears within the differential. This service is integral as changing the differential fluid removes the possibility of metal filings and moisture contained in old fluid causing damage to the bearings and gears inside the differential. Rear Differential The rear differential transfers power from the transfer case/ power transfer unit to the rear wheels. A differential service replaces the oil that lubricates the gears within the differential. This service is integral as changing the differential fluid removes the possibility of metal filings and moisture contained in old fluid causing damage to the bearings and gears inside the differential. Transfer Case Service The transfer case relocates directional power from the transmission to the front and rear differential which then direct power to the wheels. The transfer case also allows you to change drive modes (2 wheel high, 4 wheel high and 4 wheel low where applicable). Like all other fluids, the transfer case fluid needs to be changed so that moisture and build up of metal filings do not damage the gears, bearings and chain inside the transfer case. Some transfer case systems also contain a clutch pack which automatically engages 4wd when a wheel slip is detected (4wd auto). This requires a friction additive that also breaks down overtime. Replacing this additive is important to prevent the clutch from slipping which can cause vibration when using 4wd auto.Cabin Air Filter
Cabin Air Filter
The cabin air filter filters the air being drawn into your vehicle from the outside as you drive. Over time dust, dirt, leaves and pollen can restrict the filter, diminishing the air quality and preventing adequate flow into the HVAC (heat and air conditioning) system. Replacing the cabin air filter regularly allows for clean, uncontaminated air to adequately flow through your vehicle’s HVAC system.Engine Tune Up
Engine Tune Up
An engine tune up usually includes replacement of the spark plugs, spark plug wires (if applicable) pcv value (if applicable) and the engine air filter. These components are replaced to ensure that your engine is running at its most efficient state. Tune ups can vary vastly as engines vary depending on model, year and trim line. Speak to one of our Service advisors for more information on what a tune up would entail for your vehicle’s specific engine.4 Wheel Brake Service
4 Wheel Brake Service
A Four wheel brake service is a complete detail and lubrication of all the mechanical brake components. The bracket that holds the brake pads in place and the pins and the slides that allow the caliper to move back and forth on the mounting bracket are taken apart and cleaned. These components are then re-installed and lubricated. This service not only allows for even braking and a smoother ride but also extends the life span of your mechanical braking components.Coolant Flush
Coolant Flush
Glycol, Silicates and Phosphates are integral ingredients in engine coolant. These ingredients break down over time and leave deposits within the coolant system. This not only makes the circulating coolant less effective but interrupts the flow through the radiator & heater core and can lead to rust buildup inside your engine. When a coolant flush is preformed, anti-freeze and cleaning solution is circulated through the system to remove deposits and the system is re-filled with new coolant.Meet the Service Team
